Our Teachers

WHO OUR TEACHERS ARE:
- MELISSA CAPPEZUTO first started practicing yoga in 1996. Her formal training as a certified Vinyasa Flow instructor was completed at Frog Lotus in Massachusetts. The Vinyasa flow classes she teaches are a free-flow fusion of Ashtanga and Iyendar traditions. Vinyasa classes are a wonderful way to cultivate strength, serenity, and balance. Music is used to enhance the flow of the class while linking postures together in a dynamic, vibrant rhythm that ebbs and flows with the breath. As a Penn State Graduate, she holds a B.S. in Special Education and taught in the Vermont public school system for seven years. When she is not teaching or practicing yoga, she enjoys skiing and traveling with her husband Kirk, walking with her three dogs, and experiencing nature.
- CYNTHIA NEEDHAM has been teaching Ashtanga for the past four years. The primary series of Ashtanga she teaches is derived from K. Pattabhi Jois and is based on a marriage of breath and movement, offering a path to increased balance, flexibility and strength that is adaptable to everybody’s ability.
- PAT BROWER is a registered, certified Kripalu instructor. Her classes are gentle to moderate with an emphasis on building awareness.
- SUZANNE TREMBLAY is certified yoga instructor and teaches a moderate steady pose Hatha, which incorporates attention to breath.
